Test For the Presence of Moisture in Fuels
The ACUSTRIP Moisture in Fuel Test is an easy and accurate way to test for the presence of moisture in gasoline, diesel and aviation fuels as well as surfaces. It accurately detects the presence of water in any non-polar solvent, gasoline, or any surface. It is especially useful for detecting the presence of water in gasoline. Upon detection of moisture, the paper turns a bright lavender color.
Each roll contains a one-half inch wide by 50 foot long roll of test paper. The test paper is shipped in a protective plastic dispenser with a color chart. To use, simply tear off a small strip of the test paper, and either dip the paper into the test solution or place in contact with the surface to be tested. In the presence of water, the paper turns a bright lavender. The rolls have a two year shelf life if stored closed out of direct sunlight and heat in temperate space.
